Project Manager

Job Summary

Project Management is a pillar of success for a strategic creative agency. Our teams are effective and optimized through a best-in-class project management team. The project manager is responsible for creating actionable connections for teams across the agency. As a conduit to all departments, you sit at the center of creative, brand, media and operations to ensure effective communications move teams toward agency success for all projects and agency initiatives.

Through daily touchpoints with teams and inputs from agency software you are a hub of information that leverages data to maximize efficiency, improve profitability and prioritize time required to deliver award winning creative.

As a liaison for all teams, you have a natural ability to create personal connections rooted in inclusivity, empathy and a solution focused mindset. These skills help you guide teams toward action, support teams in problem solving and ensure we deliver on the expectations we set with our clients.

Essential Duties and Functions

  • From creative briefs through execution, you are a champion of details and empower teams to achieve mic-drop creative every day.
  • Partners and collaborates with Brand and Creative Directors to ensure projects start strong and finishing strong, always.
  • Create informed estimates and timelines based on historical data, project experience and team collaboration.
  • Monitor and communicate fluid changes in budget, timelines and team resource needs in real-time, during weekly production and project meetings.
  • Support coordination, approvals and trafficking of agency creative process for videos, photoshoots, websites, brand identities and campaign tactics.
  • Input, manage and monitor tasks for the creative team
  • Creates reports, department presentations and cross-functional communications
  • Monitors and reports updates on budgets from KO to final deployment ensuring teams are balancing amazing creative and profitability.
  • Work closely with production partners to ensure project details are secure from estimate to final invoice.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications or comparable field of study.
  • 1-3 years experience managing projects for integrated campaigns, brand identities, video content, social content and websites preferably in a creative or advertising agency.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and other Characteristics

  • Expert knowledge in project management software. Workamajig a plus.
  • Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office, Excel and Keynote
  • Experience supporting production process for video, photo and web.
  • Ability to navigate competing priorities and guide teams toward solutions.
  • Ability to solve problems proactively with an entrepreneurial spirit and creative mindset.
  • Must be a team player. Have an eagerness to learn, follow through with direction and provide clear direction to teams.
  • Motivated by creative excellence and a drive to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidential customer and company information.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
  • Ability/skill in interpersonal relations when interacting with internal and external customers.
