Since 2012, more than $200 million has been donated on Giving Tuesday. As we near the fifth annual Giving Tuesday, nonprofits across the nation are asking themselves, “How do we stand out and attract more donors?” This year, ChappellRoberts is proud to support all of our nonprofit clients and hope they make a difference this Giving Tuesday.
To help match more children with strong adult role models, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America is leveraging their celebrity ambassadors, BIG Champions including pro football players Antonio Brown and Lavonte David, singer/songwriters LeToya Luckett and Eric Hutchison, and actor Ryan Potter.
To create a low-barrier, easy experience, SPCA Tampa Bay will send their donors to a “one time gift” landing page. This also allows them to track the donations garnered through their Giving Tuesday promotions.
Rather than asking for time or treasure, the Lions Eye Institute Foundation will be requesting audiences make the “Gift of Life.” All audiences will be asked to register to become an organ and tissue donor so they can eventually help save as many as eight lives.
Feeding Tampa Bay will continue their annual campaign momentum utilizing clear, consistent brand messaging with a strong call to action that includes a proof point – “And with each dollar you give, Feeding Tampa Bay can help provide 10 full meals.”
Florida Hospital for Children is doing a Flight to the North Pole that will allow pediatric cancer patients to board a “flight”, taxi to the North Pole Village hangar and be greeted by a holiday wonderland. The Giving Tuesday promo is asking for donations to help pack Santa’s sleigh for this event.
Donations to Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo this Giving Tuesday provides support for animal care, education programs, and wildlife conservation efforts. Supporting the Zoo enriches the lives of animals and inspires generations of youth to protect our natural heritage.
