2017 has proven to be a great year for our agency’s competitive spirit. In just the first half of the year, we have been awarded nearly 40 awards that demonstrate our expertise in strategic marketing design, TV, digital and campaign development. What’s even more energizing is that top honors include award wins in international, domestic and industry-specific competitions.
While we put far more value on the actual results our campaigns and work deliver for clients, it is incredibly rewarding to know that our work – which we are so passionate about – measures highly within and outside of our industry as well as around the globe. This is a huge point of pride for our agency and clients!
Here’s a look at our agency awards winds so far in 2017:
2017 Hermes Awards (International)
More than 6,000 entries from around the globe were submitted to the 2017 Hermes Awards, where ChappellRoberts was among the 17 percent of Platinum winners for its work on the Florida Hospital Inspired Birthday Campaign. In addition, the agency was among the 22 percent of Gold winners for its logo design work on Creatures of the Night at Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo. Honorable mentions were awards to for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Newspaper Ad and the 2017 ChappellRoberts Calendar.
Communicator Awards (International)
Judged and overseen by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, the Communicator Awards honored campaigns for Creatures of the Night at Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2016 Season, as well as Big Brothers Big Sisters’ 2015 digital annual report, with 2017 Awards of Distinction.
Healthcare Advertising Awards (National)
Sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report, the Healthcare Advertising Awards received nearly 4,000 entries this year, making it the largest healthcare advertising awards competition and one of the 10 largest of all advertising awards. Florida Hospital’s Inspired Birth Day Experience Online Campaign was recognized as one of 367 entries to receive a Gold Award, while the Inspired Birth Day Online Video received a Bronze Award. The Birth Day Experience Website and Print Ad Campaign received Merit Awards.
Graphic Design USA Awards (National)
Exemplifying digital excellence, Florida Hospital’s Inspired Birth Day Website and Digital Campaign and the 2015 DTCC Digital Annual Report were recognized among the top 15 percent of entries by the highly-selective Graphic Design USA Awards. Further, Graphic Design USA’s Package Design Awards recognized ChappellRoberts’ can design for 3 Daughters Brewing’s A Wake Coffee Blonde Ale.
AVA Digital Awards (International)
Additional top honors for digital work include AVA Digital Awards for Florida Hospital’s Birth Day Experience Video (Platinum) and Big Brothers Big Sisters’ 2015 Digital Annual Report (Gold). AVA Digital Awards are an international competition that recognizes outstanding work by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design and production of media that is part of the evolution of digital communication. Honorable mentions were awarded to the Florida Hospital OB Website and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Online Campaign.
Telly Awards (International)
Honoring the best in TV and cable, digital and streaming, and non-broadcast productions, the 38th Annual Telly Awards recognized Florida Hospital’s Inspired Birth Day Campaign with a Bronze Telly for Regional Commercials in Campaign. Additionally, a Bronze Telly for Regional Commercials in General-Sports/Sporting Goods/Games was awarded for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2016 Season Campaign.
Media & Interactive Design Awards (International)
Creativity International Design Awards is one of the longest running, independent advertising and graphic design competitions and awarded Silver Design Awards to ChappellRoberts for the 2015 Brothers Big Sisters Digital Annual Report and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Digital Campaign. The DTCC 2015 Digital Annual Report also received a Bronze Design Award.
American Advertising Awards (Fourth District, Regional)
Sponsored by the AAF, the ADDY awards honor excellence in advertising and cultivate the highest creative standards in the industry. The 2015 DTCC Digital Annual Report was awarded a Sliver Addy from the AAF Fourth District, which includes all of Florida and the Caribbean.
Service Industry Advertising Awards (National)
The Service Industry Advertising Awards began in 2003 to recognize the advertising excellence of the service industry. Of more than 1,900 entries received in this year’s competition, ChappellRoberts received a Gold Award for the Vyne Logo and a Bronze Award for the Florida Hospital Inspired Health Campaign. A Merit Award was given to the 2015 Big Brothers Big Sisters Digital Annual Report.
Vega Digital Awards (International)
With more than 1,100 submissions from 30 countries throughout the world, ChappellRoberts has won an Arcturus recognition in the 2016 Vega Digital Awards competition for its work on the Florida Hospital Inspired Health Microsite.
Summit International Awards Emerging Media Awards (International)
ChappellRoberts was recognized in the 2016 Summit Emerging Media Awards for its work on the 2015 Big Brothers Big Sisters of America Digital Annual Report (Visionary Award) as well as for the SPCA Tampa Bay Website Redesign (Leader Award).
2017 Internet Advertising Competition Awards (National)
For nearly 20 years, the Web Marketing Association (WMA) has recognized outstanding online advertising through its IAC Awards, which highlight the best online advertising in 96 industries and nine online formats including, online ad, video, mobile, newsletter, email and social media. ChappellRoberts was awarded Best Health Care Website for its work on the Florida Hospital Inspired Birth Day Website and Best Sports Online campaign for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers All Audience Online Campaign.
